Eaton produced a video showcasing their new Ferrups FX UPS. Building upon the proven performance of the legacy FERRUPS, the Ferrups FX provides rugged, IIoT-ready protection for critical industrial power infrastructure.
This redesigned UPS will support extreme runtime in harsh power applications where traditional UPS models are susceptible to power and environmental events. The Ferrups FX applications include oil and natural gas refinement, military deployments, 911 centers, water quality, machinery automation and healthcare

Resource to Help Your Customers Understand Benefits of 2020 CARES Act
Eaton has created a web page dedicated to helping you and your customers understand the benefits available under The Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act. The 2020 CARES Act is an economic relief package that changed the Internal Revenue Code to assign a 15-year recovery period to Qualified Improvement Property (QIP). Businesses can now treat QIP placed in service after December 31, 2017 as 15-year property, which makes it eligible for 100% bonus depreciation, allowing taxpayers to take a full deduction for the cost of eligible QIP in a single year.
The benefits would likely be considered qualifying improvements for Eaton solutions like:
- Control and automation
- Engineering services including OSH Act compliance
- Lighting and lighting controls
- Power distribution equipment
- Power quality solutions (UPS) including batteries and preventive maintenance services
- Safety, security and emergency communications

Product Video: Eaton’s 9PX Split-Phase Double Conversion UPS
In this new video Eaton’s 9 Series Product Manager, Sami Hussaini, covers the 9PX split-phase UPS offering and it’s benefits.
The 9PX units provide 120 and 208v on output without the need of adding a transformer or power pass distribution module. Ultimately this reduces footprint, total cost and increases space for adding IT equipment.
The target market for the 9PX varies, but includes IT, industrial, healthcare and education. Applications consist of servers, switches, IDF and MDF closets.
